"In 2016, where an always-connected generation screams for attention through new, often contrived definitions of “cool” and surprisingly predictable proclamations of uniqueness, singer and spoken word artist Tony Adamo arrives seemingly from nowhere as a true anachronism: a performer who is authentically “cool” in a timeless, almost reckless way that almost no popular artist today can match." Tony Adamo Music Review
"What can be said about singer/songwriter spoken word artist Tony Adamo? He has been a Hollywood agent with the Beverly Hecht Agency when it was located on Sunset Boulevard. He does his own radio promotion, writes all his own lyrics and melodies, and records with some of the top musicians in jazz and funk. His music on his last three CD's releases has been produced by drumming legend, Mike Clark of Herbie Handcock and the Headhunters fame. In addition, his artwork on the greats of jazz and funk is winning new fans along with his music from across the globe. This vocal spoken word hipster sets the bar way high for all jazz vocal word artist of today and beyond to live up to. His newest music is on Ropadope Records with the backing of drummer Mike Clark, Richie Goods, Donald Harrison, Bill Summers, Roger Smith, Tim Ouimette, Mike LeDonne, Jack Wilkins, Lenny White, and Wayne De La Cruz. WAS OUT JAZZ ZONE MAD gets five stars." Midwest Jazz Alliance
