Adamo's lyrical material is often magisterial." Allaboutjazz

"Tony Adamo is a master storyteller, hipster, Vocal spoken word artist on the highest order. Sort of a deconstructed Miles Davis Birth Of The Cool amped up to the new millennium. Adamo is much in the same way as Miles, a visionary. Brent Black

"Adamo writes the lyrics as he preaches, teaches, rhyming, timing, evangelizin’, and street corner prophesyin’ to the highest degree. Tony Adamo is such a bowl of energy that anything he graces deserves extra attention." Jazzweek

Chief Red Wing/Tony Adamo

Most of you already know that The Red Wing Shoe Company originates from Red Wing, Minnesota. It was founded there in 1905 by Charles Beckman. However, what most of you probably do not know is the fact that Charles Beckman devoted his company’s name and logo to a local American Indian tribe leader, one called chief Red Wing, as did the local government before him when they founded the city Red Wing in the early 19th century.
