For those of you who have been here all along, and those of you have just joined us today, we must say Thank You for being a part of this thing called Ropeadope. We have entered our 20th year in the game, and we are prepared to celebrate. We've taken punches, and we've held in there because we believe in the music, and we believe that victory is at hand.
Will there be one big celebration? Perhaps. But first, we want to reflect the global diversity of the Ropeadope Family by celebrating through the year with special events in different places. We're teaming up with our new media company, 21Soul, to create unique musical events in cities around the world. First up? Emanuel Casablanca, Paul Beaubrun, and Vivian Sessoms at Brooklyn Bowl on April 23, followed in May with a special Philly event with RC & The Gritz. After that, we'll be announcing new events in Montreal and Mexico City. Brooklyn tickets are right here, Philly is a free show.

"Tony Adamo is a character - he’s been a rock drummer, a billboard guy, a TV set tech, high explosive tech, radio DJ, and Hollywood movie and commercial agent - but his true calling hit him while hanging with Mic Gillette and Skip Mesquite from Tower Of Power and mixing it up with drummer Mike Clark. Tony creates spoken word pieces, writing them out before recording, and then out comes a completely different riff as he hits the mic. he speaks of the greats, of a time past for most but still vibrant for some. His tone evokes a feeling of freewheeling abandon, of true independence as his band cooks with gas. His 2018 release, Was Out Jazz Zone Mad featuring Mike Clark (Herbie Handcock) in peak form with special guest Roger Smith of Tower Of Power.
