"In 2016, where an always-connected generation screams for attention through new, often contrived definitions of “cool” and surprisingly predictable proclamations of uniqueness, singer and spoken word artist Tony Adamo arrives seemingly from nowhere as a true anachronism: a performer who is authentically “cool” in a timeless, almost reckless way that almost no popular artist today can match." radio promoters/Tony Adamo
Yo People, From your response on FB and to my message and email. Many of you are unsatisfied with the work radio promoters have done for you on your music release in the past. Is It the radio promoters? Is it that your music does not fit the playlist of the station it was sent out to? Did you're Cd get lost in the mail? Maybe the music or program director just does not dig your music. Good luck to all. Please send me the positive work radio promo people have done for you. Feel free to post positive and negative results to my FB page.

To all indie Artists /Beware Of Dr.Jazz Radio Promo/Please Read Below/Tony Adamo
To all indie Artists /Beware Of Dr.Jazz Radio Promo...
This is to all PD's and radio announcers on Jazzproglist. It's a sad day in radio promotions and for indie artists when Dr. Jazz singles out an artist for not using his services of $2500.00 however, $3000.00 was quoted at first for the promoting of my nu Cd, WAS OUT JAZZ ZONE MAD on Ropeadope records. Prior to my deciding not to engage in his service, he quoted the following about my Nu Cd: "Great Project" and "Shit Man...Great Stuff!! Not Finished Listening. More Tomorrow" ( see graphics below) This morning he came back with this quote, "4 weeks, 4 stations. This is the result of no radio promotion!"
-Dr. He also corrected me on the 3000.00 he wanted and said this," $2500 :)"
His whole mood changed when I told him I needed the money for recording and not radio promo. It was so not cool of him to be this petty and unprofessional. As an indie artist, I feel like it is my obligation to speak out on being treated in this way from a radio promoter. I have used radio promoters in the past who are on Jazzproglist and have never had a situation like this. I thank the radio PD's and announcers who are spinnin' my music from Ropeadope Records as I made the calls this time myself. (see graphics below)
